Individual Training

We offer many individual and personalized trainings for general surgical procedures in order to allow veterinarians to perform surgeries using good surgical techniques to increase confidence, surgical knowledge and expertise. You will perform the surgery assisted by the surgeon.

These training sessions will help you better respond to owners’ expectations and questions regarding potential complications associated with surgery and postoperative care to be performed and optimize patient recovery. This will give you the confidence to properly discuss the surgical procedure offered to the patient by having an informative discussion before the surgical procedure.

For each surgical technique, a list of materials and equipment necessary for the surgical procedure will be recommended in order to ensure good surgical practices.

Several training courses recognized by the OMVQ (Ordre des Médecins Vétérinaires du Québec) for veterinary continuing education for 8 hours of CE.
